Lloyd Goldfine on Mt. Greylock

This is a nice photo from the summer of 2004. My pal Lloyd Goldfine, head writer on the 4Kids TMNT show, had come up for a visit to talk about the show. We decided to do a "drive and talk" and headed up Mt. Greylock.

Mt. Greylock is the tallest mountain in Massachusetts, located in the northwest corner of the state, about sixty miles from Northampton. The road to the top is about eight miles long (unfortunately, it's closed this year for repairs), and has lots of great views.

This photo was taken at the top of the mountain -- Lloyd is standing before the war memorial which was built up there in the 1930's. I especially like how the clouds look in this image. -- PL

  1. Lloyd's a nice dude. I only met him briefly at NYCC, and I'm sure he was wondering "who the @#$%'s this Australian?" but he was cool to talk to!

I have to thank you again for introducing us Pete!

  2. -->> .. isn't Lloyd on one of the earlier Volume DVD releases.

Even tho' the volume sets of SEASONS came out the past year + i did keep the original volumes.

I think .. ( ' think ' ..mind is fuzzy ) that he is on some of the DVD extras like Gary, Pete, and Stan being interviewed, for example.

I do need to check. There was a small series of those extras. >v<

  4. Is it sad that the first thing that comes to my mind is:

"BY THE POWER OF GREYLOCK, I HAVE THE POWER!!!"

Trist, you are more than welcome. I agree -- Lloyd is a really nice guy. And I don't think it's too much of an exaggeration to say that the 4Kids TMNT tv show wouldn't be anywhere near as good as it is without Lloyd at the helm. He has been a joy to work with. -- PL
