This one was done for fun back in 1988, turning the Leatherhead character (created by Ryan Brown) into a ninja (temporarily). I did pencils, inks and tones (and the bad lettering) on this drawing. -- PL
-->> ..seems as tho',as of his 'Tales' premiere .. there was allot of somewhat high expectations for L.H.
Would he appear he did not disappoint.
The ' Cajun ' Leatherhead remains classic, tho' i do like the ' more intelligent version a bit more. I also like it he's much more stronger a supporting character to the TMNTs like as far as in the newer show and books.
His Mutanimals role is a whole other beastly.. wow, gee.

Ohh I LOVES it!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, here is where I differ from some fans-- I prefer the Leatherhead of the 2k3 series. I just do not like cajun L.H.
But that is a wicked picture!
Heh, if Volume 4 has more Battle Nexus stuff before it wraps, I'd love to see this character revisited if there's a tournament :).
ReplyDeleteI've always liked this one. It's very funny, but in a good way.
ReplyDeleteThere is something so mikey about this, that even without the weapons and name on the peice, I would have known it was him
