This is a fun drawing, something I penciled and Jim inked back in 1986. It was probably one of the first pieces we ever worked on together. It's interesting to note how Jim's inking style has changed. -- PL
I don't know why this one in particular, but there's something about it that I just really love. I can't quite put my finger on what it is. Everything about it is just pleasing to the eye.
PS: I'm all for growing as an artist and eveything, but please tell Jim to revist his previous style. It appears he was on to something good here.
Hah not to bad Jon, I'd love to see the image Peter just shared with us on a T-shirt even more. Haven't seen many TMNT t-shirts as of late, are they going to stop with the retro line? I was really looking forward to getting a Krang Shirt.

ReplyDeleteIt is interesting indeed to see how Jim Lawson's style has changed over such a period.
ReplyDeleteNot feeling that shirt, Jon. Sorry.
