Turtles in the library, part 2

Here's another view of the visit my brother Bruce and I paid to the new installation of the TMNT bronzes I donated to UMass.

I used Panorama Maker 5 to stitch together several shots to make this panoramic image of Bruce getting serious with his photography.

You can see more clearly in this shot the beautiful display case UMass commissioned for the sculpture group on its granite pedestal. -- PL

  2. Hey, Peter. I was wondering if you could shed some light on the unmade TMNT Hallmark movie? What was it going to be about? Do you have any pre production photos or concept art? Splinter was going to be fully mobile like the turtles in previous movies, from what I remember... Anyway, I just randomly remembered updates about this flick back on the old TMNT site, and now I'm terribly curious again.

    Thanks!

    1. It appears you've kind of addressed this question in one of your Ask PL entries! MY B, PL!

  3. Dear Peter,
Will there ever be any sort of a continuation of the TMNT 2003 series? It was so gritty and filled with mind-blowing adventures. Great work!
    Sincerely,
    Noah Kerwin

    1. I really don't know. I suppose there could be, if the new owners liked the idea, but I think they have a new direction they're happy with, so I doubt they would want to go back to the 2003 series. But you never know -- maybe for the fiftieth anniversary, they will decide to do a "Turtles Forever Part 2" where the Nickelodeon Turtles interact with previous iterations of the TMNT, including the 2k3 dudes. -- PL

    2. They're actually doing something kind of similar to that for the second season opener. I know the Fred Wolf voices have all been confirmed to return and there are strong hints that other incarnations of the Tirtles will appear. Let's hope so. I really enjoy the fun tone of the new series but it's nothing compared to the modern day cartoon classic that you put together.

Anyway, the statues look awesome. What I wouldn't give...
