Shellback Artworks signing, September 14, 2013!

I should have posted this earlier, but I've been distracted with a bunch of other things. However, seeing Steve Lavigne (and his wife Denise) last night at our first cookout in the backyard of our new house in Maine reminded me: I'm doing another signing at Shellback Artworks!

It's going to be from noon until 4PM on the fourteenth of September, which is just about three weeks away as I type this. I believe Jim Lawson is also going to be in attendance. We'll be signing stuff and doing sketches (well, I'll probably only be doing head sketches, but I suspect Jim will be doing all manner of drawings, as is his wont). I'm hoping Steve will be joining us for the signing and sketching part, if he can get away from running the store for that block of time.

There might be one or two other guys from Mirage coming to the signing, but I'm not sure. I'll try to update this post with new information if I can get it in time.

See you there! -- PL

  3. I'll be there. I have kind of a strange request, would I be able to buy one of your pencils off of you? I recently was able to get a piece of art you penciled (WOO-HOO!!!), and would love to display it with one of your pencils.

    1. Chris, given that I don't do much penciling these days, and I only use mechanical pencils at that, and the one I carry around with me is the same one I've had in my pocket for a year or so (and I plan on keeping that), I don't think I will be able to fulfill your request. Sorry! -- PL

  4. No problem, I completely understand. Would you be able to point me in the direction of the type of pencils you have used in the past. I'll pick some up at Steve's store on the 14th.

Will you be signing at this radical store on FCBD, May 02 2015? Please be positive that I would love to shellebrate my fandom, and confirmation of this would make my plans for an international adventure far simpler.
