    1. I'm good, and happy that my candidate won. Glad to see that sanity prevails, even if only by a relatively small margin. -- PL

    2. So your saying anyone who doesn't agree with your political views is insane?

    3. It's called "exaggeration for effect", Dan. And you spelled "you're" wrong. -- PL

    4. You don't have to correct my spelling, I'm not one of the writers for your show.

    5. That is so rude, Dan!! When I was taking remedial classes (writing, reading) I was surprised how many American-born students have difficult to write and read in their language.

I'm not American, but I came here not only for a better life, but to learn your language and that's includes writing and reading.
I don't mind, if Peter corrects my spelling. On the contrary, I'd be happy because I want to improve my English skills and then I could considered myself a bilingual person.

    1. You mean this one?

      "draw tmnt vol 4 today!

      draw tmnt vol 4 today!

      draw tmnt vol 4 today!

draw tmnt vol 4 today! "

I deleted it because I found it intrusive, inappropriate, and annoying. -- PL

    2. Yes!
      And...
Sorry Mr Laird. Didn't want to offend you, but just poke with the idea to be part of the little drops on the stone that make a wish for many of us come true.
Maybe next time if a republican Triceratops rules your country after Obama's attempts of decency I try again?
It's just the more I lack a continuation of your tale the more it becomes fascinating but also frustrating. Please don't be annoyed too much by the imagination of once young people, because your drawings and writings used to have a lot of impact on them!
And please understand the 4 times repetition of the same sentence as a mild joke based on your original posting. A joke no one laughed about. But with good intentions behind.

No pressure and the very best,

  3. Yes the wrong person won and the Obamacare layoffs since Wednesday are now in the thousands.

But hey he has dark skin and a personality cult. No need to worry about competence

    1. I'm unclear why you mentioned "dark skin". That has nothing to do with why I voted for President Obama. If it is about jobs, as you say, I don't think Governor Romney would do a better job when it comes to job creation. Here in Massachusetts, under Governor Romney, we lost 14% of our manufacturing jobs. That was something I kept in mind when I went to vote. It is a proven fact that the four years President Obama has been in charge he has created jobs. Some folks argue over the amount of jobs created but, most agree he has created more jobs. I would have to respectfully disagree with you when you say the wrong man won. Obama has been moving us forward. Jobs are up, the stock market is up, housing cost are low and, the housing market is showing signs of life again. I could go on and on about what the President has done in his first term. Positive things, helping students get cheaper loans for collage, signed New START Treaty nuclear arms reduction pact with Russia, signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, provided the Department of Veterans Affairs with more than $1.4 billion to improve services to America's Veterans, signed the Children's Health Insurance Reauthorization Act, which provides health care to 11 million kids (4 million of whom were previously uninsured), signed the Weapons Systems Acquisition Reform Act to stop fraud and wasteful spending in the defense procurement and contracting system, ended the Bush administration's CIA program of 'enhanced interrogation methods, tax cuts for up to 3.5 million small businesses to help pay for employee health care coverage, ordered the military operation that killed Osama Bin Laden, just to name a few. There are more reasons but, I think you see my point. You may have had your reasons for voting for Governor Romney. Reasons that I’m sure you felt where legitimate. I may not agree with your reasons but, I would not say everyone who voted for Romney did it because he is a white guy. With that being said, I find it insulting when I hear someone say that the reason myself and the majority of my fellow citizens voted for President Obama is simply because of his “dark skin”. Things are never that simple. In the end the right man did win. It worked the way it was supposed to work. The man who gets the majority of votes and, wins the most electoral collage points becomes the President. That man was Presedent Barack Obama. When you say the right guy did not win I think you mean to say, your guy didn’t win.

    2. How can you say Obama created jobs when the unemployment rate is higher than when he took office?

      Delete
    3. And the stock market isn't up. It went down after Obama got re-elected.

  4. That's a fair question. When the President was sworn into office in January 2009 the unemployment rate was at 7.8 percent. A month after he took office that number climbed to 8 percent. Ten months after the President took office we where still loosing jobs at a record rate bringing us to the highest unemployment rate of 10% in October 2009. Now, the last jobs report is claiming that unemployment is at 7.9 percent as of October 2012. When the President took office the job market was in free fall after the financial crisis of late 2008. It took time to stop the job loss before he could start growing jobs again. It was not like the President took office and could immediately pass legislation to make the jobs market grows again. You don't like it and, I don't like it but, these things take time. Especially when you have a Congress that wont sign on to any job legislation you put in front of them. I think the fact the President started reversing the job loss trend in his first year in office is a good thing. Don't you? So yes, you are correct when you say the unemployment rate is higher now than when President Obama took office. It is in fact .10 percent higher. Considering the financial disaster and job losses the President was facing when he took office I think it is fair to say he did something right and has us moving in the right direction again. When you consider peak unemployment was at 10% in October 2009. The Bureau of Labor Statistics and most economists agree that President Obama has created jobs in the past couple of years. Since the end of 2009, business investment has grown at a rate of 18 percent, and exports have increased 32 percent, for a total of $2 trillion. The American manufacturing industry has added more than 500,000 jobs in the past thirty months -- the strongest growth for any thirty-month period since 1995. So far this year alone, the manufacturing sector has added more than 154,000 new jobs. In 2011, for the second straight year, the number of manufacturing jobs in the United States increased, after declining every year since 1998. So it is not really me saying that President Obama created jobs. It is the Bureau of Labor Statistics and, most economists saying it.

  5. I was saying the stock market has doubled since the President took office. It is down right now because of fear of whats going on in Europe and the looming fiscal cliff here in America.
