Update on TMNT Volume 4 #32 (CORRECTION! 05-09-14 6:25PM)

At the Free Comic Book Day signings last weekend, I had several people ask me about when TMNT Volume 4 #32 would be available via mail order through Mirage Studios.

The plan is to begin selling copies that way on May 18. Please note that I will not be doing large head sketches in any of these copies, although if requested, I will autograph copies ordered from Mirage.

I also plan to have a digital version up, probably like I did with TMNT Volume 4 #31 on this TMNT blog, before then. I want to see if we can work out a way to post a PDF file, but I can't guarantee it. It may end up being individual images of each page like last time.

I am also planning to do a printing of issue #31 at some point in the near future. Watch this space! -- PL

  3. Exciting. I was a little worried since I couldn't make it to the FCBD weekend event. Living in Minnesota it was just not something I could get to and was pretty bummed about it. It looked like it was a blast and totally worth any wait in line for fans. Glad it sounded like fun (if not a little strenuous satisfying all the fans in line) for the creators involved too. Nice to see you and Kevin together in good spirits. I know schedules are crazy and there's probably a million other factors that I as simply a fan have no clue about, but is it too much to hope to maybe see the original creators back together to possibly give the TMNT a final 'Dark Knight Returns' or 'Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow' style end story to the original versions of their creations. Depending on how Vol.4 is intended to eventually maybe wrap up someday of course and if that ending would even allow for such a story. It'd be wonderful to see the original two minds behind this creation also have a final word on these characters in this form, even if its strictly writing as art is certainly a bit more time consuming. Probably just the daydreams of a long-time fan, but maybe someday down the winding road that these crazy characters have been traveling. Or perhaps a bit too much wishful thinking there?

Regardless, it's been a sheer joy reading what's come until now.
Waiting eagerly to order #32 and #31 when the time comes and hopefully we'll get to see Vol. 4 have it's story told in full to its natural conclusion one day.

  4. And also thanks for the time frame for ordering! Those of us not able to make it and hoping to order one greatly appreciate not being left in the dark on being able to pick up this book.

  5. Thanks for keeping us updated, I'm really stoked to get 32 in my hands. 31 as well actually....

Any chance of ever reprinted #29? I missed the boat way back, and the Ebay prices are freaking INSANE (at least when it appears at all, which isn't often)

  7. Out of curiosity, do you know many copies of #32 were sold at Shellback Artworks? I know some people purchased 2-3 copies, and there were a LOT of people who showed up. I'm just wondering how many out of the 1,000 printed copies are possibly left.

    1. I'm not sure exactly how many copies they've sold so far, but I think a couple hundred are still left. -- PL
