One has the string look while the other the chain look. Jim said not long ago that the chains were your design while the string was Kevin's design when drawing. I was curious to a follow up on that to confirm. I've always thought they looked better that way, though they are more time-consuming to draw. I can't recall offhand if we ever used the "string" look in the comics, at least the ones we drew together.<br><br>One other example of Kevin changing something in the design of the TMNT was his alteration of the "tie" style belt closure to the "clip" style.
