This is another one of those drawings that I keep thinking I have already posted, even though my search of this blog does not turn it up.
I did this one back in 1983 to combine, for fun, a couple of my favorite things -- Triceratons and weird robots with shiny Fugitoid-style extremities. -- PL
I love those Triceratons. The robots extremities provide some really nice wraparounds and make quite an eye catching composition.
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I really love this one. The difference in texture between the triceraton and the robot is very striking. At first, I thought only the robot was inked, but then upon closer inspection, I realized that the Triceraton just has very detailed texture. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI hop that there's a triceraton in the tmnt smash up game. That would be awesome.
Wasn't this the first appearance of a Triceraton? I believe this is printed in GobbledyGook #1.
ReplyDeleteThe Triceratons are very cool. Wish NECA would have made one.
ReplyDeleteJust saw this on Twitter: Triceratops never really existed. What we know as Triceratops were just juvenile versions of the Torosaurus. CRAZY. I hope this blows your mind as much as it does mine. http://tinyurl.com/32j7623
ReplyDelete-->> TRICERATONS DO EXIST !! I'VE THE FEDERATION SPACE SHRAPNEL MY BACK TA PROVE IT !!
