Just wanted to mention that I started the toning work on issue #31 today. It's probably a few months away from publication, but I'm pretty sure this one will be coming out more quickly after #30 than #30 appeared after #29. -- PL
Off-topic: I know you said that there was a mistake in the Comic-Con listing for Artists Alley regarding your inclusion, but I hope that the others are all attending.
Something tells me Vaughn may be pleased by this news :-P
Good to hear Pete. Is there any difference internally that you can put your on that is inspiring the quicker turn around? Certainly not complaining, just curious :-)
Can't wait. I honestly look forward to having the whole story in front of me so I can read them all in order and really appreciate them for what they are. I haven't read all of volume 4 in awhile.

Not really. I think it might partly be doing all the head sketches in issue #30... every so often I'll stop and page through the comic and start thinking "I've got to get this thing moving a little quicker!", as there are some key events I want to see happen in Volume 4. -- PL
Very nice to hear :)
ReplyDeleteThat should make a lot of people happy.

ReplyDeleteCool to know #31 is in the pipeline too, Pete! Any hints you can drop on that one?
I'm very happy, thats my only gripe about volume 4, that it takes so long to come out.
ReplyDelete-Vaughn M.
Tristan Jones: Sorry to hear that you won't be there. I'd hoped to meet you.
ReplyDeleteI'm betting Buslady will be standing in line to order issue 31 once its available.

Just that something unexpected happens in the last few pages. Was that suitably vague? :) -- PL
