Ace, there's my page right there! Yay! And there's a few changes... I love Raph shooting the missile launcher backwards, althought perhaps the finished art with the force knocking him over is more fitting in tone to the issue...
I love seeing the differences between your and kevin's layouts, and how Jim Lawson interpreted them into the finished art..
Would also love to see this sketchbook released some day, this art is awesome!! Would you ever consider doing an 'Artobiography' type book, sorta like what Kevin released? Seeing this stuff on the computer is great, but there's nowt like having something like that in your hands!!
I wish I could sit down and read it like a comic. You probably flip through it like 'some old layouts' while we, the fans, would treat it like a Smithsonian artifact. I'd be scared to touch them.
-->> ..easily one of the coolest battles in Turtle history.

ReplyDeleteAwesome work!
ReplyDeleteI always lovd that page with the explosion and the turtles in the bottom corner. It really conveyed the size of the battle.

ReplyDeleteIts gotta be a real challenge coordinating the fight scenes.
